Saving you money
Practice makes perfect! Because we routinely carry out razor wire installations, the time taken to install will typically be less than a general contractor who has limited or no experience of handing razor wire. In many cases you will also be saving on delivery charges as we can often bring everything for the job with us to the site.
Additionally, products are priced at our standard trade retail prices so you wont be incurring any third party installer marks ups.
Health and Safety
The cost of H&S approved PPE, such as the example below, can be quite prohibitive for a general contractor who perhaps doesn’t want to invest in the correct full PPE ensemble. All our installers are fully equipped with the correct and approved PPE, so you can rest in the knowledge that our installations and installers will stand up to your company’s health and safety policies. If requested we are happy to provide your QA/QC department with method statements.

Specialist tooling
Having the correct tooling and equipment to hand is essential! Without it, the time taken can increase dramatically (along with the cost). Our installers are fully equipped with all the correct tooling required to carry out installations safely & efficiently.
Knowledge
We are freqently asked to rectify or remove old installations. This is often an interesting experience and we have seen many poor installations over the years, where the razor wire is stretched to a point of being simply ineffective, or it is sagging because it hasn’t been properly supported. Our personnel take pride in their work will make sure your installation is done properly.
Pricing
Pricing of the materials alone can be found on the online shop within this website. This will give you an idea of the material cost, of course depending on the quantity we may be able to deliver the materials ourselves thereby saving you the shipping costs. As mentioned previously you wouldn’t need to consider tooling or PPE either.
Location can also be a factor in the pricing, although we cover all the UK, travel time and over night accommodation are factors we need to take into account when providing you with an installation price.
Other information:
Accurate measurement (to within a meter or 2) of the perimeter is necessary for us to quote, likewise any other information such as pictures of the site including the fence/wall are very useful, as many as possible please!
Surveys/ Site visits
We do occasionally carry out site visit’s to survey a particular job, this tends to depend on the size and complexity of the project. We may charge for this service depending on the location and if so the charge is refundable on receipt of the order to carry out the works.
Lead time
Generally unless it’s a very simple installation we normally need a few weeks preparation in advance of the installation, this is not only to accommodate current commitments but also we often need to fabricate bespoke brackets and supports beforehand.
